Touchstone 2.0 ---------- Minor changes were suggested to the Touchstone 2.0 base specification, to emphasize the removal of normalization in the "Compatibility Notes" section. This section was also moved to its own page. Addendum ---------- - Bob Ross suggested removing many of the keyword ordering restrictions, to simply require that the new keywords must appear before the network data. - [Number of Frequency Points] will be moved forward in the document, with appropriate adjustments to the examples. - The equations will be corrected to follow mathematical conventions. - Several of the examples should be checked for consistency with the Version 2.0 requirements. The drafts are nearly ready for consolidation into a single document for review and forwarding to the IBIS Open Forum. ======================================================================== Team Objectives: 1) complete ICM-IBIS linking BIRD and any associated changes to the ICM specification 2) update the ICM specification, if needed, to clarify the mapping of ICM nodes to S-parameter ports 3) complete a specification for "Touchstone Plus" or similar industry-standard definition for Touchstone-like files, to include complex impedance references, removal of limits on the maximum number of ports and per-port impedance references
